Gites de Bernet is 2 km south of Monein, on the D9 Route des Pyrénées towards Oloron (or

Côte de Lacrabette on the satellite map / Google maps). After the small traffic circle, as you

leave the village, continue until you pass a national speed limit sign, after which the road

turns right. You'll see a cow sign on the right and the start of our distinctive white paddock

fence. Our drive comes shortly after, just before a 'school bus stop' sign and our own sign.

We have two fields in front of the property. The house and gites are set back about a

hundred metres by car.

If you are coming from Oloron, follow the Route d'Oloron through Cardesse and continue

for 2.5 km, passing Chemin Nigri, Nogaro and Chemin Hauret on your left. You'll see the

white paddock fence on your left, immediately after a yellow bungalow, and our driveway,

as detailed above, is on the left.

Please park in the guest parking area.

Airports

The nearest airport for domestic flights is Pau, just 25 minutes away by car.

For international flights, the nearest airport is Lourdes, around 50 minutes away by car, then

Biarritz, just over an hour away. You can also fly to Bordeaux or Toulouse, both 2 hours

away. Cars can be hired from all these airports.

Railway station

The nearest TGV station is in Pau, 30 minutes away. Alternatively, you can drive to Orthez,

35 minutes away. The nearest SNCF train stations are in Artix, near Pau, and Oloron-Sainte-

Mairie, both around 20 minutes away.

Bus

The nearest bus stop is in Monein town centre.
