Long time lovers of France, we moved here from Norfolk in the UK with our three sons. We have spent a great deal of time in various parts of France, but as soon as we came to Pyrenees Atlantiques, we knew this was where we wanted to live. Between the stunning Pyrenees Mountains and the beautiful Atlantic coast, just a stone’s throw from Spain, the area offers endless choices. Monein itself is a vibrant community surrounded by hills covered in vineyards, rural but not isolated, and within easy reach of beautiful Pau.
